Wendell Moore spent last season playing for the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets.
He finished the year with averages of 4.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 34.1% from the three-point range.
This week, the former Duke standout signed with the Boston Celtics.
Via Zack Cox of The Boston Herald: "Here is the Celtics' full training camp roster.
Fourteen rostered players, three two-ways (Amari Williams, Max Shulga and RJ Luis Jr.) and four camp invites (Jalen Bridges, Kendall Brown, Ron Harper Jr. and Wendell Moore Jr.)."
The Celtics have done a good job of getting the best out of their role players.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Moore will have a chance to make the roster (at some point during the season).
The 24-year-old was the 26th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
He spent the first two seasons of his career playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Moore has also appeared in seven NBA playoff games.
