
DaQuan Jeffries is coming off a season where he appeared in 47 games for the Charlotte Hornets.
He finished the year with averages of 6.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 40.5% from the field and 33.5% from the three-point range.
This week, the Hornets waived the 28-year-old.
Via Michael Scotto of HoopsHype: "The Charlotte Hornets have waived DaQuan Jeffries. He averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 22.8 minutes per game. Jeffries started 20 of his 47 games played for Charlotte last season."
In addition to the Hornets, he has also spent time with the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings.
His career averages are 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 41.5% from the field and 31.5% from the three-point range in 111 games.
He has also appeared in six NBA playoff games for the Knicks.
The Hornets finished the 2024-25 season as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 19-64 record.
They last made the NBA playoffs during the 2016 season when Kemba Walker was still on the roster.
