Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players in NBA history.
The 2014 MVP also knows what it's like to come back from a major injury.
This week, Durant sent a message to Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.
Durant's post had over 29,000 likes.
Celtics on CLNS wrote: "Jayson Tatum is already back on the court."
He wrote: "Insane. Let’s get it JT"
Tatum finished last season with averages of 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field and 34.3% from the three-point range in 72 games.
The Celtics won the 2024 NBA Championship over the Dallas Mavericks.
However, they lost to the New York Knicks in the second round of the 2025 playoffs (Tatum got injured at the end of Game 4).
Via Keith Smith of Spotrac: "I'm trying to be rational, but this seems incredible. Maybe he will be back this season? Still trying to wrap my head around that one.
Great message from Jayson Tatum at the end for his fans and Celtics fans too!"
As for Durant, the future Hall of Famer is going into his first season as a member of the Houston Rockets.
He was traded (via the Phoenix Suns) over the summer.
