Carmelo Anthony is most known for his time playing for the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets.
The ten-time All-Star spent the final year of his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Following his induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame, the franchise sent a message to Anthony.

Anthony finished his one year in Los Angeles with averages of 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 44.1% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 69 games.
Anthony was the third pick in the 2003 NBA Draft out of Syracuse.
He also played for the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers over 19 total NBA seasons.
His career averages were 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point range in 1,260 games.
Anthony never reached the NBA Finals (but he made the 2009 Western Conference finals with the Nuggets).
He also won three Gold Medals with Team USA at the Olympics.
