Malcolm Brogdon spent the 2024-25 season playing for the Washington Wizards. 

The 2017 Rookie of The Year had averages of 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point range in 24 games. 

On Friday, ESPN's Shams Charania reported the news that Brogdon will sign a deal with the New York Knicks. 

Via Charania: "Free agent guard Malcolm Brogdon has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Knicks, agent Sam Permut of Roc Nation tells ESPN. Entering his 10th NBA season, the former Sixth Man of the Year gives the Knicks key backcourt depth and reserve playmaking."

Brogdon was the 36th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft out of Virginia. 

He has also played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers. 

His career averages are 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 38.8% from the three-point range in 463 games.

The Knicks lost to the Indiana Pacers in the 2025 Eastern Conference finals.
