The Denver Nuggets have some positive news about Jamal Murray heading into the Heat game.

The Denver Nuggets are gearing up for a game against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night as they look to grab their second straight win. Miami is playing their third game in four days which should give the Nuggets the advantage as they're coming off slightly more rest.

A relatively clean injury report for the Nuggets should also be a clear advantage. Denver should be mostly at full strength for Wednesday, though the status of one of their stars is somewhat up in the air.

Denver has had a moderate start to the season with a 4-2 record, but the Heat still present a real challenge despite being overworked and under-rostered with a handful of injuries of their own.

    Nuggets Injury Report

Denver is mostly at full strength for Wednesday's game, with no players definitively out for Wednesday's game. There are some caveats, but Denver will likely have all their pieces to work with against the Heat.

Jamal Murray (calf) is listed as PROBABLE against the Heat. Murray's status has been stuck in day-to-day territory as he's been dealing with a calf injury that has slowed him down somewhat in recent games. Murray scored 15 and 22 points respectively in his last two games, steady production, but not fully at the same level he's shown he's been capable of this season.

Julian Strawther (back) is the only other name on the Nuggets report and he is also PROBABLE to appear against the Heat. Strawther has been a bottom option on the Denver bench, but his swingman versatility allows him to step up either as a shooting guard or small forward, which frees up the Nuggets to mix up their rotations more.

Strawther has averaged 5.5 minutes in four games this season and will be ready to go if needed against Miami.

    Heat Injury Report

The Heat are worn slightly more thin going into Wednesday. Tyler Herro (foot/ankle) continues to be out and likely won't return to the court until sometime in December at the earliest, while Terry Rozier has been placed on unpaid leave by the NBA following his arrest for involvement in the NBA's ongoing gambling scandal.

Kasparas Jakucionis (groin) is QUESTIONABLE for Wednesday's game as well.

    A Strong Matchup Incoming

Both the Nuggets and the Heat have powerhouse potential despite their average records and their matchup represents a chance for both teams to gain some momentum going forward. It will likely be a hard fought game on both sides with the Nuggets throwing the full strength of their roster at Miami.
