The Denver Nuggets set their injury report for game five against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Denver Nuggets look to stave off elimination in game five of their first round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Nuggets dropped game four of the series, 112-96, putting them in a win-go-home situation for game five in Denver. The Nuggets started off well in game four after a disappointing effort in game three, but the momentum shifted after halftime, and the Timberwolves found their offensive rhythm while shutting down the Nuggets on defense. Things got out of hand in the closing seconds with a scuffle between the two sides after Nikola Jokic took exception to Jaden McDaniels scoring in the final seconds with the game already decided.

The Timberwolves lead the series 3-1. Game five tips off at 10:30 PM ET in Denver.

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

Aaron Gordon is QUESTIONABLE with left calf tightness. Gordon gutted through game four, but was limited to just 24 minutes as he was visibly laboring in the first half. He played only eight minutes in the second half and only three minutes in the fourth quarter. He finished with nine points and one rebound. He missed game three of the series.

Spencer Jones started in place of Gordon in game three.

Peyton Watson remains OUT with a right hamstring strain. Watson has been sidelined since April 1. The Nuggets announced on April 22 that Watson was week-to-week and that it is unclear when he will return.

Jamal Murray had 30 points for Denver in game three, but shot 10-25 from the field. Nikola Jokic finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists, but also had a rough shooting night, going 8-22 from the field and 0-3 from three. Cameron Johnson had nine points while Christian Braun had eight points.

Tim Hardaway Jr had ten points off the bench.

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Anthony Edwards is OUT with a left knee bone bruise. Edwards suffered the injury in the first half of game four. He is expected to miss multiple weeks and is unlikely to return this series.

Donte DiVincenzo is OUT after suffering a right Achilles tendon tear. He suffered the injury just 1:19 into game four. He will undergo surgery and begin rehabbing, though it is unclear if he will play at all next season.

Despite missing Edwards and DiVincenzo for the entire second half, the Timberwolves won game four thanks to Ayo Dosunmu scoring 43 points off the bench.

Naz Reid was their second leading scorer in game four, contributing 17 points off the bench.

Julius Randle had 15 points while Jaden McDaniels finished with 12 points.
