The Denver Nuggets are awaiting a final verdict on two of their key players vs the Los Angeles Clippers

The Denver Nuggets will likely have two of their starters – Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray – available in the team’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, which is set to tip off at 10:30 p.m.

In the NBA’s latest official injury report, Gordon and Murray were both listed as probable.

Gordon and Murray both played in Denver’s previous contest against the Sacramento Kings following a matchup against the Indiana Pacers in which they were both sidelined with injuries – Gordon, his left hamstring, and Murray, his left calf – and missed their first games of the season.

It’s only a one-game sample size, but in that contest against the Indiana Pacers when Gordon and Murray were not in the lineup, the Nuggets were still able to take care of business, winning 117-100 and further showcasing the team’s depth early in the season.

In that game, five of Denver’s players scored in double-figures, with forward Peyton Watson especially having a solid night – scoring 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds in taking over as a starter in Gordon’s absence.

Nuggets head coach David Adelman spoke highly of Watson’s play this season following that game on Nov. 8, noting his improved strength and rebounding ability so far this year.

Rachel Strand (@MileHighRachel) on X Rachel Strand (@MileHighRachel) on X Adelman is extremely impressed with Peyton Watson's growth from season to season. "A year getting stronger, another year in the weight room. He's getting these rebounds at the highest point. Not to 'highschool coach dork out' but, two hands, highest point rebounds. That stuff

“The defensive rebounds have been really impressive,” Adelman said during the postgame press conference. “And I just think it’s a year getting stronger, another year in the weight room. And he’s getting these rebounds at the highest point, not to just high school coach dork-out, but two-hand, highest point rebounds."

"And that stuff still resonates in basketball. If you can do that, you’re going to come down with the ball.”

    Clippers Injury Updates

On the Clippers’ side, today’s injury report details some unfortunate news for the franchise, as it was announced Bradley Beal will be out of action for the remainder of the 2025-26 NBA season due to a hip surgery he will have.

Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) on X Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) on X Just in: Los Angeles Clippers guard Bradley Beal has a fracture in his hip and will undergo season-ending surgery, sources tell ESPN.

This season, Beal had played in six of the Clippers’ 10 games, averaging a career-low 8.2 points per game as a starter.

In this move to Los Angeles, the former Wizards star, who had spent the last two seasons with the Phoenix Suns, was set to hit the reset button on his career on a roster full of fellow veterans such as Chris Paul, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Brook Lopez. Now he will spend the next five-to-six months on the bench, having to support his team from the sidelines.

Against the Nuggets, the Clippers will also be without Leonard, who is dealing with a right ankle sprain, thus making for an undermanned effort from Los Angeles tonight.
