David Adelman and the Denver Nuggets are preparing for a chaotic slate of playoff games.
The Western Conference is the most talented that it's been from a long time and it's full of threats that could give anyone else in the league pause.
The dominant Oklahoma City Thunder, the favorites to win it all, stand out first. But from the San Antonio Spurs led by Victor Wembanyama to the Denver Nuggets, who are a powerhouse in their own right with the talents of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray at their disposal, the Western Conference is full of threats.
That's what's going to make this upcoming set of playoff series' so exciting. For Nuggets head coach David Adelman, who's gearing up for his teams' own playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves in round one, he's preparing for a hectic playoffs while maintaining the faith he has in own squad.

"We're really confident. I think everybody in the West should be. Anybody in the West could win this thing. It's such a talented conference... These playoffs are going to be insane," Adelman said (via Nuggets). It's going to be wildly competitive, but my group from what I've seen the last couple of days... everybody's in a good head space."
Despite the tough competition ahead of them, Adelman and his team should have a lot of reason to be confident, especially against the Timberwolves. The Nuggets are 3-1 against the Timberwolves in the regular and with the team close to full health for the o first time in a long time, Adelman has so many weapons to work with.

The winner of their series goes on to play the winner of the series between the aforementioned Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers, further showing just how stacked the Western Conference truly is.
Western Star Power
The NBA has firmly entered into a new era of star power, though the old guard in players like Steph Curry and LeBron James aren't finished yet, as Curry's vintage performance against the Los Angeles Clippers in the Play-In showed.

Scott Wachter-Imagn ImagesA common theme, while the Eastern Conference does have its fair share of stars as well, is that so much of the NBA's star power is concentrated in the Western Conference.
The next few weeks is slated to be some of the most exciting basketball in recent memory, and the Play-In games have already given fans a taste of that.
Adelman and the Nuggets are prepared for that excitement, but they aren't worried about it.
