The Denver Nuggets will look to bounce back as they travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons on Tuesday.
The Nuggets had their two-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-111 to wrap up a four-game home stand where they went 2-2. They now hit the road for three games, starting in Detroit.
The Pistons have won two straight, easily taking care of the Brooklyn Nets, 130-77, in their last contest. They are 4-1 in their last five, playing their next three games at home before going on the road.
This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. They just met on January 27, a close 109-107 victory for the Pistons in a game where Nikola Jokic did not play.
Good news for the Nuggets is that Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are completely off the injury report. Both men had been listed in recent games, and Jokic has been on a minutes restriction following his first two games back from a knee injury.
Christian Braun is QUESTIONABLE with a left ankle sprain, a good sign that he is getting closer to returning. Braun has been sidelined since January 9 and has been limited to just 14 games this season due to injury.
He's averaging 9.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in those contests.
Aaron Gordon remains OUT with a right hamstring strain. He's been out since January 23 and was set to be re-evaluated in four to six weeks as of January 29.
Cameron Johnson also remains OUT with a right knee bone bruise. He's been out since December 23, and there is no timetable for his return, with the Nuggets saying that he is out indefinitely.
Tamar Bates (left foot surgery) and Curtis Jones (G-League two-way) are also OUT.
The Pistons come into the contest relatively healthy, as Caris LeVert is the only rotation player on the injury report. The good news for the Pistons is that LeVert is listed as AVAILABLE with an illness.
LeVert has not played since January 19. In his first season with the Pistons, LeVert is averaging 7.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 31 games.
Isaac Jones (G-League assignment), Bobi Klintman (G-League assignment), Chaz Lanier (G-League assignment), Wendell Moore Jr (G-League two-way), and Tolu Smith (G-League two-way) are all OUT.
