The Denver Nuggets will be missing a key player once again against the Phoenix Suns.

The Denver Nuggets will look to keep their momentum going when they take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. 

The Nuggets are coming off a 128-112 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in their last game, their second straight win. They have won three of the last four and are 6-4 in their last ten. They sit fourth in the West with a 44-28 record, tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves and a half-game up on the Houston Rockets. They trail the Los Angeles Lakers by two games. 

The Phoenix Suns knocked off the Toronto Raptors in their last contest, 120-98, snapping a five game losing streak. They are firmly in seventh place in the West, four games up on the Los Angeles Clippers, but 3.5 games behind the Rockets. 

This is the third meeting of the season between the two teams. The Nuggets are 2-0 on the season series. They won the last meeting 130-112 on November 29.

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

Peyton Watson is OUT with right hamstring injury management. He returned to the lineup on March 22 against the Blazers, playing 20 minutes off the bench and finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists. 

It was his first game since February 4. 

The Nuggets are on a back-to-back, and likely opting to rest Watson on the front-end. They will play the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. 

Phoenix Suns Injury Report

Grayson Allen is QUESTIONABLE with left knee injury management. He's been sidelined since March 16, missing the last four games. In 44 games this season, Allen is averaging 17.2 points, three rebounds, and 4.1 assists. 

Royce O'Neal is PROBABLE with left knee soreness. He's been out since March 17, missing his only three games of the season. Appearing in 69 games this season, O'Neal is averaging 9.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 40% from three for the second straight season. 

Dillon Brooks remains OUT with a left hand fracture. He suffered the injury on February 21 against the Orlando Magic. On March 12, it was reported that Brooks no longer had his cast on, but had not been cleared for contact. There is no timetable for his return. 

Mark Williams is OUT with a left foot third metatarsal stress reaction. He's been sidelined since March 3 and was set to be reevaluated in two to three weeks from the time of his injury. 

Amir Coffey is OUT with a left ankle sprain. He's been out since March 19. He's averaging 2.9 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 43 games this season. 

Haywood Highsmith is OUT with right knee injury management. He's been out since March 17 and has played in just six games this season.
