The Denver Nuggets hope to have Jamal Murray against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Denver Nuggets will look for two in a row as they take on the reigning NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. 

The Nuggets are coming off a 103-84 victory over the Boston Celtics, bouncing back after a tough loss to the shorthanded Golden State Warriors. Denver has traded wins and losses in its last eight contests. They are fourth in the West was a 37-22 record. 

The Thunder dropped its last game, falling to the Detroit Pistons, 124-116. The loss snapped a three-game win streak. They remain at the top of the Western Conference at 45-15. 

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. OKC won 121-111 on February 1. They will meet two more times before the end of the season, including on April 10, which is the second-to-last game of the year for both teams. 

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

Nuggets All-Star Jamal Murray is QUESTIONABLE with an illness. He played just eight minutes against the Celtics before leaving the game due to illness. He hasn't missed a game since January 23. 

In 54 games this season, Murray is averaging 25.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 7.4 assists. 

Jalen Pickett is also QUESTIONABLE, dealing with right knee soreness. He's been out since February 11. In 39 games this year, he's averaging 5.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. 

Julian Strawther is PROBABLE with a left great toe sprain. He played 26 minutes against the Celtics, finishing with 12 points. He hasn't missed a game since January 22. 

Spencer Jones is QUESTIONABLE with a right shoulder strain. He played 26 minutes against the Celtics, scoring six points and grabbing seven rebounds. He's played in four straight after missing four of five with injury. 

Aaron Gordon is OUT with a right hamstring strain. He's been out since January 23 and was set to be reevaluated in four to six weeks at the time of his injury. 

Peyton Watson is also OUT with a right hamstring strain. He's been out since February 4 and was set to miss at least four weeks. 

Tamar Bates is OUT after undergoing left foot surgery, and Curtis Jones is OUT on a G-League two-way deal. 

Oklahoma City Thunder Injury Report

OKC will welcome back reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who hasn't played since February 3 due to an abdominal injury. He is completely off the injury report. 

Jalen Williams remains sidelined with a right hamstring strain. He's been out since February 11 and was set to be reevaluated in two weeks from February 19. He's played in just 26 games this season. 

Ajay Mitchell is also OUT with an abdominal strain and left ankle sprain. He's been out since January 21. 

Thomas Sorber is OUT after undergoing ACL surgery in the offseason, and Branden Carlson is OUT with a low back strain.
