The Denver Nuggets are nearly at full strength on their injury report against the Sacramento Kings Monday night

The Denver Nuggets suffered a crushing loss to the Portland Trail Blazers in their first game of the NBA Cup Group Play, with Portland's Toumani Camara blocking Cameron Johnson's potential go-ahead shot, with Jerami Grant winning the game on a pair of clutch free throws to send the Nuggets back to Denver with a 109-107 loss.

Now, the Nuggets start a four-game home stand, with the first matchup being against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are heading into the last leg of their four-game road trip, where they just defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 135-133. For the Nuggets, they look to be at full strength when the Kings come to town on Monday.

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

It's all looking positive for the Nuggets on their injury report, as the only rotation players, Jamal Murray (calf) and Cameron Johnson (shoulder) are listed as PROBABLE for Monday's contest.

It's been a rough start to the season for Johnson, who was the team's prized acquisition during the offseason after they traded away Michael Porter Jr. and a 2032 first-round pick. While the Brooklyn Nets aren't winning games, Porter Jr. has looked stellar, while Johnson has logged double-digit points just once so far this season.

However, going up against the Kings in a contest where the Nuggets should put up a lot of points, it's a get-right opportunity for Johnson to get prepared before the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors come to town later in the week.

For Murray, he's been Denver's leading scorer so far this season, averaging 26.0 points per game, highlighted by a 43-point performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves. If the Nuggets want to get back into the postseason, a lot of pressure will fall on Murray to deliver as the second star on this team, and he's doing that so far.

The only other names listed on the injury report are Tamar Bates, DaRon Holmes II, and Curtis Jones, who are all OUT as they fulfill duties with the G League team.

A battle between two of the best offensive centers in the NBA in Nikola Jokic and Domantas Sabonis, there's a strong chance one of them ends the night with a triple-double, as fans have seen several times before.

Tip-off at Ball Arena is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EST, with the Nuggets looking to avoid consecutive losses and improve to 4-2 on the season. The title hopes are still alive, but dropping a contest like this would be bad for team morale.
