They are fifth in the West with a 40-26 record, grouped with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Minnesota Timberwolves, who are all within a half game of each other.
The Spurs defeated the Boston Celtics in their last game, running their win streak to five games. They are 16-1 in their last 17 games. San Antonio is second in the West with a 48-17 record, 2.5 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. They haven't played since November 28, a 139-136 victory for the Nuggets. They'll meet two more times before the end of the regular season.
Jamal Murray is listed as PROBABLE with a left ankle sprain. He played 31 minutes against the Rockets, finishing with 30 points and four assists. He's played in two straight since leaving in the first half against the Knicks and not returning.
Aaron Gordon is QUESTIONABLE with right hamstring injury management. He played 22 minutes against the Rockets, but didn't score. Gordon missed 16 games from January 27 to March 5 with the hamstring injury. He has played in back-to-back situations this season.
Peyton Watson is OUT with a right hamstring strain. He's been out since February 4. He was expected to miss at least four weeks.
DaRon Holmes II, Curtis Jones, and KJ Simpson are all OUT on a G-League two-way deal.
Victor Wembanyama is QUESTIONABLE with right ankle soreness. He played 37 minutes against the Celtics, finishing with 39 points, knocking down eight threes, and 11 rebounds. He hasn't missed a game since January 3.
Harrison Barnes is also QUESTIONABLE with left ankle impingement. He's been out since March 1, missing the last five games for the Spurs. He's averaging 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 60 games.
Lindy Waters III is QUESTIONABLE with an illness. He missed the last game against the Celtics. The seldom used guard played just 6.5 minutes per game, averaging 2.1 points.
Harrison Ingram, David Jones Garcia, and Emanuel Miller are all OUT on G-League two-way deals.
