The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies injury report has more people out than in.

The Denver Nuggets seek their third straight win as they travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies.

The Nuggets are coming off a 102-100 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, their second game of a back-to-back. They bested the Washington Wizards, 107-97, the night before. This wraps a three-game road trip for Denver.

The Grizzlies have lost two straight, falling to the New Orleans Pelicans 133-127 in their last contest. They have lost three of their last four. This concludes a seven-game homestand for the Grizzlies, which doesn't include a trip to Germany for two games in between.

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Nuggets won 125-115 on November 24.

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

Jamal Murray remains QUESTIONABLE with right hamstring inflammation and left hip inflammation. Murray missed the game against the Bucks after playing 36 minutes against the Wizards on Thursday.

He is averaging 26 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists on the season.

Jonas Valanciunas is also QUESTIONABLE with a right calf strain. Valanciunas returned to the lineup after missing nearly a month against the Wizards, playing 22 minutes and contributing 16 points and nine rebounds. He did not play the next night against the Bucks.

Peyton Watson is QUESTIONABLE with a right ankle strain and left ankle sprain. Like Murray and Valanciunas, Watson was out against the Bucks after playing 40 minutes against the Wizards.

He is enjoying a career year, averaging 14.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

The Nuggets are still without three-time MVP Nikola Jokic, who is OUT with a left knee bone bruise. Cameron Johnson (right knee bone bruise), Christian Braun (left ankle sprain), and Tamar Bates (left foot surgery) also remain OUT.

Aaron Gordon is also OUT with a right hamstring strain. He suffered the injury against the Bucks, playing just 16 minutes in the contest. Gordon missed 19 games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.

Memphis Grizzlies Injury Report

The Nuggets are banged up, but they'll get little sympathy from the Grizzlies, who are missing key players as well.

Ja Morant is OUT with a left elbow UCL sprain. Morant has played in just two of the last nine games for the Grizzlies. He's played just 20 games this season, averaging 19.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 8.1 assists.

Santi Aldama is also OUT with right knee injury management. He's been out since January 18. With all the injuries to the Grizzlies, Santi is averaging a career high of 14 points, 6.7 rebounds, and three assists per game.

Brandon Clarke (right calf strain) remains OUT. He will miss at least four to six more weeks as of January 14.

Ty Jerome, who hasn't played at all for Memphis this year, is still OUT with a right calf strain. Zach Edey is also OUT with a left ankle stress reaction.

Finally, Jahmai Mashack is OUT on a two-way G-League deal.
