
The success that the Denver Nuggets have managed this season is made even more remarkable when looking at just how many injuries they've dealt with this season.
All but one member of the Nuggets' starting five from the opening day of the season have missed multiple weeks at different times due to injuries and even though several of those key starters have begun turning a corner on the injury front, the team still hasn't had the chance to play whole the way they were when the season as even more injuries have popped up.
Heading into the their Wednesday matchup against the Boston Celtics, the Nuggets are finally receiving some good news when it comes to the health of their players, but there's still a long way to go before the team can be considered fully healthy again.

Murray missed the Nuggets' last game, a Jan 5 overtime win over the Philadelphia 76ers, due to the injury. Murray had reportedly been playing through the sprain since at least Jan. 2 before being forced to sit out on Monday.
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is PROBABLE for Wednesday's game. Gordon returned to the court on Sunday after missing 19 straight games due to a left hamstring strain. He then sat out the second leg of back-to-back games on Monday, but will likely be back on the court Wednesday night.

Braun has also missed significant time this season due to a left ankle sprain and was out since Nov. 12 before being activated alongside Gordon for Sunday's game and sat again on Monday.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (illness, injury management) is PROBABLE to play Wednesday.
Spencer Jones (illness) is PROBABLE for Wednesday's game.

Nikola Jokic (knee) remains OUT with a bone bruise in his left knee after suffering an injury against the Miami Heat on Dec. 29. Jokic is projected to return near the end of January at the earliest.

Valanciunas suffered the calf strain in Denver's Dec. 31 win over the Toronto Raptors, his first game taking over the starting center role while Jokic was out. Valaciunas was given a four-week timetable from the date of his injury before he'll be re-evaluated.
Cameron Johnson (knee) is OUT for Wednesday's game with a bone bruise in his right knee. Johnson has been out since Dec. 23 and will be out 4-6 weeks from the date of his injury.

Josh Minott (ankle) is OUT Wednesday's game. It will be the second straight game that Minott will miss due to a sprained left ankle.
Jayson Tatum (Achilles) remains OUT while he recovers from a ruptured right Achilles that he suffered in last season's playoffs. The Celtics haven't definitively ruled Tatum out for the entirety of the 2025-26 season, but they haven't given a concrete they expect him to return, either.
