Aaron Gordon on the Indiana Pacers would be fun to watch.

The Indiana Pacers have been urged to trade for Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon this offseason.

Jack Simone of 8 Points, 9 Seconds believes the Pacers should attempt to trade for Gordon this summer.

Gordon is one of the top two-way players in the NBA. He's a three-level scorer on offense who can defend guards and forwards. The Pacers would benefit immensely from Gordon's versatility.

For the Nuggets this regular season, Gordon averaged 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 49.7% from the field, 38.9% from beyond the arc and 76.7% from the free-throw line.

A starting lineup of Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, Gordon, Ivica Zubac and Andrew Nembhard is dangerous enough to make things interesting in the Eastern Conference next season. While Gordon is expensive -- he'll make $31,978,037 next season -- you have to pay big bucks to win in today's NBA.

"Gordon dealt with some injury issues last year, but he's still a great player, and he hadn't been hurt much before that," Simone wrote. "If the Pacers feel good about him, they should consider inquiring about a deal. Again, the Pacers may already be one of the best teams in the East. But adding Gordon to the mix could help make them a favorite to come out of the conference."

A one-time NBA champion, Gordon has played for the Orlando Magic and Nuggets. He has career averages of 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in the regular season and 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in the playoffs.

Without Haliburton, the Pacers struggled immensely this season. They won only 19 games.

However, Indiana will be a contender again next season with Haliburton back in the fold.

The Pacers made a blockbuster trade this season, acquiring Zubac from the Los Angeles Clippers. Since Indiana doesn't have a first-round pick in the 2026 draft because of the Zubac trade, the front office may have to make another massive trade.

It will be interesting to see if the Pacers pursue Gordon or someone else in trade talks this summer.
