The Indiana Pacers have revealed a cool new look featuring Tyrese Haliburton and Reggie Miller.
Ahead of the new 2026-27 NBA season, the Indiana Pacers have released a new look that features some of the best players from their history.
Indiana revealed a new Statement jersey for the season, and within the announcement, guards Tyrese Haliburton and Reggie Miller were featured. Both Haliburton and Miller are two of the best players to ever play for the Pacers, making this even cooler for fans.
The Pacers are gearing up for what should be a big 2026-27 season as they look to reclaim their spot atop the Eastern Conference. After missing the playoffs last season, the Pacers are being viewed as a contender once again.
Much of this has to do with Haliburton returning from injury, giving this team a full boost for the year. With Haliburton back in the mix, the Pacers could easily get back to being a title-contending team.
The last time that Haliburton played, the Pacers were one win from claiming a championship. And now, the goal is to get back to that place but finish the job this time around.
However, Haliburton knows that if he had not gotten hurt in Game 7 of the 2024 NBA Finals, he could be a champion right now.
"I donāt know if Iāll ever get over it," Haliburton said. "When I strained my calf, I knew it was a possibility. We knew that internally. Kendrick Perkins was going on TV talking about don't play. Get the f*** out of here. What is he talking about don't play. I knew it was a possibility."
But the past is the past, and Haliburton is ready to write the story of his return. If Haliburton can get the Pacers back to contention, it would be a special comeback all around.
The star guard is looking forward to the challenge ahead of him, not backing down from anything.
"Chomping at the bit. I can't wait," Haliburton said. "Everybody always feels the summer is really long. Like, 'Wow, I can't wait to get back'. Well, I've had that for double, triple the amount of time as everybody else. So I can't wait to get back on the floor."
In his last full season, Haliburton averaged 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 9.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. The state of Indiana has been patiently waiting for Haliburton's return, and now it's just a few weeks away.
