Keith Lee ran a giveaway at Roosevelt City Pavilion on Monday while Haliburton captained a softball team in Indianapolis, 150 miles away.

Food critic Keith Lee put $15,000 into storm relief in Gary. Tyrese Haliburton matched him, and the $30,000 paid for food and essential supplies at a giveaway Lee ran Monday at Roosevelt City Pavilion with The Salvation Army.

"Tyrese Haliburton found out what we [were] doing, and he matching our contributions," Lee said in an Instagram video.

The giveaway ran while Haliburton was at Victory Field in Indianapolis, captaining a team at the Pacers Foundation Charity Softball Classic.

"As much as I can. I want to be involved in the community as much as I can," Haliburton said. "Obviously, I couldn't be in Gary today with what they're doing, but I wanted to help give back as much as I could. For me to contribute at all means the world to me, so I'm very thankful."
