Tyrese Haliburton opened up about his health after playing in the Pacers preseason opener.

The Indiana Pacers kicked off their preseason action on Wednesday, taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Indiana was able to get the win over Minnesota, pitting together a strong effort. But the main storyline from this contest was the return of star guard Tyrese Haliburton after a long injury recovery.

Haliburton was coming off a torn Achilles that saw him miss the entire 2025-26 NBA season, and this was his first game action. The Pacers had been patiently waiting for their star guard to make his return, and he was able to impact the game, even in a limited time.

The veteran played 16 minutes for the Pacers, putting up seven points, six assists, one block, and two steals. It was a solid return for Haliburton, and the Pacers were very happy to see him back on the floor.
