The Indiana Pacers have had some elite players in their franchise history.
The Indiana Pacers haven't won a championship in their franchise history, but they have had some very talented players.
Ahead of the 2026-27 season, here are the five greatest players in the Pacers' franchise history.
5. Tyrese Haliburton
Tyrese Haliburton will likely end his career way higher on this list, but his career is still very young. Haliburton led Indiana to a historic run to the NBA Finals in the 2024-25 season, with many game-winners and clutch moments along the way.
He is one of the best playmakers and scorers in the league and could continue to improve throughout the remainder of his career. Haliburton will return to the court in the 2026-27 season after he tore his Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
In his Pacers career, he has been a two-time All-Star, named to the All-NBA Team twice, and the assist champion in the 2023-24 season. Across his four years with Indiana, he has averaged 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 10.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from three.
Haliburton could end up as the greatest or second-greatest Pacer by the end of his career, but his accolades don't match up with the other players on the list just yet.

Roger Brown is a Hall of Famer who thrived during his career with Indiana in the ABA. He was a four-time All-Star, three-time All-ABA, three-time ABA Champion, and made it on the ABA All-Time Team.
In eight years with the Pacers, he averaged 18 points per game along with 6.5 rebounds and four assists, shooting 47.1 percent from the floor and 31.7 percent from deep.
While Brown is a historic player and fans may not know him as well, he was an MVP candidate for many years in the ABA and helped his team win three titles.
3. George McGinnis
George McGinnis is another historic player, with a great career with the Pacers in both the ABA and the NBA. McGinnis is a Hall of Famer who was a six-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA, three-time All-ABA, two-time ABA Champion, an MVP, and a member of the ABA All-Time Team.
McGinnis's MVP season came in the 1974-75 season with Indiana, averaging 29.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.6 steals per game while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from behind the arc.
He played seven years for the Pacers and is one of the greatest players in franchise history.
2. Mel Daniels
Mel Daniels is another ABA star that Indiana had, and he's the best of the bunch. Daniels was a Hall of Famer, a seven-time All-Star (six with the Pacers), a five-time All-ABA, an All-Star Game MVP, a two-time ABA MVP, a three-time ABA Champion, and a member of the ABA All-Time Team.
In his six years with Indiana, he averaged 19.4 points, 16 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, shooting 48.3 percent from the floor.
Daniels was a dominant player in his era and is widely regarded as one of the best in franchise history.
1. Reggie Miller
The easiest answer for the greatest Pacer of All-Time is Reggie Miller. Miller spent his entire career with Indiana, averaging 18.2 points, three rebounds, three assists, and 1.1 steals per game, shooting 47.1 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from distance.
He is one of the best shooters in NBA history and had a phenomenal career with the Pacers, as a five-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA selection, and a member of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team.
Miller is a Hall of Famer and will likely remain the greatest Pacer for the foreseeable future unless Haliburton is able to deliver a championship or two with the franchise by the end of his career.
