The Indiana Pacers have a big 2026-27 season ahead with the return of star guard Tyrese Haliburton. With Haliburton back on the floor, the Pacers will be looking to jump back into contention and make it back to the NBA Finals.

Despite taking on a larger offensive role, he had the most efficient season of his career from three-point range.

Nembhard has not only been a steady piece in the regular season, but he has proven he can elevate his play in the postseason.

In the 2024-25 regular season, he averaged 10 points per game along with 3.3 rebounds, five assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 45.8 percent from the floor and 29.1 percent from deep.

In the playoffs, he averaged 12.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, shooting 47.1 percent from the field and 46.5 percent from behind the arc. Nembhard became more efficient and had big moments throughout the playoff run, helping the Pacers reach the NBA Finals.

He is a great fit alongside Haliburton in the backcourt, and Indiana will lean on him once again in the 2026-27 season.

Nembhard will be a major part of the Pacers' offense with his scoring and playmaking, but his numbers will likely dip slightly with Haliburton's return and the offseason acquisition of Kelly Oubre.

Haliburton will be among the top scorers on the team and the lead playmaker, as he averaged 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 9.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, shooting 47.3 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from distance in the 2024-25 season.

Oubre will also factor in as a scorer for Indiana, as he averaged 14.1 points, five rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game last season, shooting 46.7 percent from the floor and 36 percent from downtown.

With the talent and depth on the roster, the Pacers are poised to be a contender in the Eastern Conference, with Nembhard as one of their most important pieces to make a deep run.
