Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton shares a social media update dunking just 17 weeks after Achilles surgery, staying involved with the team despite missing the 2025-26 season.

Indiana Pacers All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton will miss the entire 2025-26 season after suffering a torn Achilles in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

But that hasn’t stopped him from scoring in other ways.

Haliburton shared a major update on social media this week: he’s dunking again.

He completed a two-hand dunk with head coach Rick Carlisle watching. “Wow!” He said, as seen in the video.

This milestone comes just 17 weeks after Haliburton underwent surgery on his right Achilles back on June 23rd.

He remains involved with the team daily and even traveled with them on their first three-game road trip of the season.

The Pacers have started the season 0-4 without him — along with a half-dozen others due to injuries.
