The New Orleans Pelicans are set to take on a red-hot Charlotte Hornets squad on Monday afternoon.

This was originally supposed to be on Monday night, but weather conditions in the area caused it to be moved up.

The Pelicans have been playing much better basketball as of late, but so have the Hornets.

Charlotte has four players averaging above 18 points per game and has won their last six outings. This will be a great test to see how good this improved New Orleans defense actually is.

Here is a quick rundown of important information to know before the game tips off on Monday:

New Orleans Pelicans at Charlotte Hornets Injury Updates

The Pelicans remain as healthy as they have been all year. The only player remaining hurt is Dejounte Murray, who just hinted that he could return this month.

Not on the injury report, but also not expected to play in this game are Jordan Hawkins and Jordan Poole. James Borrego said after practice on Thursday that they remain ready and could be called on at any moment, but the belief is that they are sitting out as the front office tries to trade them ahead of next week's deadline.

The Hornets aren't dealing with a ton of injury issues, but they have a ton of players out in the G League right now. Josh Green is listed as probable with a thumb sprain. Mason Plumlee is out due to groin surgery. Liam McNeeley, Antonio Reeves, Tidjane Salaun and PJ Hall are all out with G League assignments.
