The New Orleans Pelicans seek their fourth straight win against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.
The New Orleans Pelicans are looking for their fourth-straight win on Saturday night against the Utah Jazz, whom they beat easily just a couple of days ago. This is the first of a back-to-back, with the Clippers on deck for Sunday.
The Pelicans handled business against the Jazz on Thursday, thanks to the incredible 42-point performance from Saddiq Bey. Even if they don't get that same level of production out of Bey, they should be fine.
Utah is clearly focused on getting as high of a draft position as possible. They have shut down a couple of starters already and could be looking at even more. While the players that suit up will be trying hard, the management clearly is not.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Utah Jazz Injury Updates
The Pelicans will take a step back for a moment this game, as Dejounte Murray is set to miss it due to injury management, with it being the front end of a back-to-back. With New Orleans playing the Clippers tomorrow, they decided to make that the priority.
Trey Murphy will also miss fifth straight game with that shoulder injury that happened right before the All-Star break. It has definitely been way more impactful than what was initially expected. It shouldn't be too much longer, though, according to James Borrego.
In some good news, Yves Missi took a step forward and has been upgraded to questinoable. This follows the timeline that Borrego set forth a few days ago, when saying that their injured players should be back in the next game or two.
The Jazz are still without most of their impact players. The only change before this game is dropping the pretense that Lauri Markkanen might play. Markkanen, Jaren Jackson Jr., Walker Kessler, Jusuf Nurkic and Vince Williams Jr. are all out. Keyonte George remains questionable.
