Last night saw the New Orleans Pelicans fall victim to another poor fourth quarter performance, but the team will need to put it behind them quickly as they have another game on Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets have been alongside the Pelicans as one of the weakest teams in the league all season long. Michael Porter Jr. has had a career year with 25.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists on 49.1/40.4/83.8 shooting splits, but it hasn't led to much winning basketball.
Brooklyn did win the first meeting between these two teams back in New York, 119-101. Now in New Orleans, the Pelicans will have to split the series.
Here is a quick rundown of important information to know before the game tips off on Wednesday:

In some good news, the fact that this is the second half of a back-to-back won't effect who New Orleans has available. Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy and Saddiq Bey all remain off the injury report.
No one will be returning to action, though, as Jose Alvarado, Herb Jones and Dejounte Murray all remain out with their injuries.
The Nets have a handful of injuries of their own. Haywood Highsmith, EJ Liddell, Ben Saraf and Ziaire Willams are all out. None of those are as impactful as the losses that the Pelicans are dealing with, but it will force some less proven role players to step up.
