The New Orleans Pelicans are closing out their four-game homestand on Saturday with a matchup against the No.2 seed in the east: the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Pelicans are up to 25-46 on the year, have won their last three games and have won seven straight at home. They have as much momentum as a 25-win team this late in the year can have.
The Cavaliers have NBA title hopes and certainly feel like they should win this game. Both teams are 6-4 in their last 10, though.
Here is a quick rundown of important information to know before the game tips off on Saturday:

New Orleans will go back to their current best-case scenario injury report with Dejounte Murray eligible to play in the non-back-to-back. They were able to win that last game without him, but his absence was certainly felt.
Bryce McGowens remains out with that toe fracture, and the three two-way players have been ruled out as well.
The Cavaliers are dealing with far more injury issues. Jarrett Allen remains out with knee tendonitis, Craig Porter Jr. and Tyrese Proctor are out with strains. Their two two-way players have been ruled out.
Jaylon Tyson was downgraded to doubtful overnight as he deals with a toe sprain. He had played in their last two games, though. The big one is MVP-level guard Donovan Mitchell, who has been listed as questionable with an eye issue that cost him their last game.
There are two days of rest in between this and their next matchup, so it wouldn't be shocking if he does play. Even if he doesn't, Harden has proved that he can handle the load in their offense. He scored 36 points in the last game against the Chicago Bulls.
