The New Orleans Pelicans have just one more game before they can take their foot off the pedal with the NBA's All-Star break coming up soon. On Wednesday night, they face an injured Miami Heat squad.
The Pelicans have won their last two games to improve to 15-40. Without their first-round pick, they are still fighting hard to win as many games as they can.
The Heat are 28-27 on the year and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. They're surviving, but have been hit hard with injuries and are without a couple of important players.
Here is a quick rundown of important information to know before the game tips off on Wednesday:

The Pelicans still have Dejounte Murray out with an injury, along with Hunter Dickinson and Trey Alexander on G League assignments. Murray had hinted at a February return. Only time will tell if that actually happens, but there have been no updates yet.
A change for New Orleans, though, is that Micah Peavy has been listed as out with a toe sprain. He hasn't been playing a ton recently, so it's best to have him sit out until 100%.
The Heat have an extra-long injury report ahead of this game, but it is mostly because of a lot of people being made available.
Vladislav Goldin and Keshad Johnson are being brought up from the G League. Kasparas Jakucionis, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Niokla Jovic, and Dru Smith are being made available to play despite slight injuries.
Tyler Herro, Norman Powell, Pelle Larson, and Terry Rozier are all out, which is where the biggest difference-makers lie. Andrew Wiggins is questionable, which would be a major loss given who is already out.
