New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves bench starters, leading to a lengthy injury report.

The time has come for the final game of the season, and with no impact coming from the result, both the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves are going to be sitting their starters and some other contributors.

The Pelicans' season is long gone, so they had already been sitting people for the past few games, giving their younger players a chance to shine. The Timberwolves have a playoff run to prepare for, so they just won't be taking any chances with a pointless game against New Orleans.

Here's the full injury report the Pelicans put out:

Saddiq Bey (Rest) - Out
Herb Jones (Rest) - Out
Karlo Matkovic (Low back injury management) - Out
Bryce McGowens (Right small toe fracture) - Out
Yves Missi (Right hand/finger sprain) - Out
Trey Murphy III (Right ankle sprain) - Out
Dejounte Murray (Left hand contusion) - Out
Zion Williamson (Right knee injury management) - Out

Jeremiah Fears has had 40 and 36 points in the last two games. He'll have the runway to take as many shots as he wants once again on Sunday night.

Here's what the Timberwolves are working with:

Mike Conley (Rest) - Out
Ayo Dosunmu (Right calf injury maintenance) - Out
Anthony Edwards (Right knee injury maintenance) - Out
Rudy Gobert (Rest) - Out
