Betting odds, how to watch, starting lineups, injury reports and more information for the New Orleans Pelicans matchup with the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
The New Orleans Pelicans suffered a disappointing loss in their season opener against the Indiana Pacers, but now they're going to have a chance to bounce back against the Utah Jazz in Game Two.
Neither the Pelicans nor the Jazz had many expectations from the outside basketball world going into the season, and both started the Year 0-1. Undoubtedly, both teams are going into this one feeling like they should come out on top.
For New Orleans, they'll need better production out of their starting five. They used the same group both at the start and at the close of the game, and these were the two worst stretches. They have talent on this team, but it's about putting the pieces together.
For Utah, they added Darryn Peterson with the second overall pick in the most recent draft. He had an okay debut, but now this will be his first game in front of his home crowd.
This should make for an entertaining matchup at least, with the potential for a ton of points.

What To Watch for in New Orleans Pelicans at Utah Jazz
Zion should be able to feast.
Williamson had a fun first game of the season, hitting a couple of threes, but he had some trouble finishing at the rim. This Utah defense will give much less resistance, which should lead to a big game for the Pelicans' forward. He has had many meetings with Jackson Jr. in the past from when he was on the Memphis Grizzlies, and Williamson usually won those. Hayes had a rough first game of the year as well.
