The New Orleans Pelicans are now trying to avoid a three-game losing streak after their Friday night loss to the Phoenix Suns. They'll have an immediate chance to get payback as the Suns return to the Smoothie King Center on Saturday.

The Pelicans were able to keep Friday's game close for much of it, despite having a horrific shooting night. They shot 44/20/60 splits as a team. They were 25-42 from the free throw line, which was one of the primary factors contributing to the loss. It was also a late defensive collapse that led to Phoenix pulling away.

This would be a massive win to help keep New Orleans from really falling apart again, as they face one of the top teams in the NBA on Monday when the New York Knicks come to town.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Phoenix Suns Injury Updates

Herb Jones and Dejounte Murray remain out. Jordan Poole is still off the injury report. Zion Williamson looks to be available for another back-to-back thanks to this new bench role.

Grayson Allen, Jalen Green and Kobe Brea all remain out in this one for the Suns. It's clear that Phoenix misses the shooting that these three bring, but they have been able ot survive. Mark Williams and Ryan Dunn have been listed as questionable. Williams had 24 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block on Friday, so that would be a big loss for the Suns.
