New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray's illness looms large ahead of the first of a back-to-back with the injury-riddled Los Angeles Clippers.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been a new team since getting healthy, which is why the only injury biting them is so unfortunate.

The Pelicans released an updated injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and it was the same as it was the last time:

Trey Alexander (G League two-way) - Out
Hunter Dickinson (G League two-way) - Out
Bryce McGowens (Right small toe fracture) - Out
Josh Oduro (G League two-way) - Out
Dejounte Murray (Illness) - Questionable

Murray missed the last game with an illness and is still listed on the report with whatever that is. He had tried to work out and play last time, but they decided against it.

Now, it would make sense for him to miss this game and have another day to hopefully recover. He could maybe play sick in this game, but then he would have to miss Thursday anyway because of the back-to-back.

The good news is that there have been no new injuries. McGowens is still out with that toe injury, though.

Here's what the Clippers reported, which could have a major impact on this game:

Bradley Beal (hip fracture) - Out
Bennedict Mathurin (toe injury) - Out
Yanic Konan Niederhauser (lisfranc ligament tear) - Out
Kawhi Leonard (ankle sprain) - Questionable
Darius Garland (toe management) - Questionable

Los Angeles could be without a couple of major contributors in this game. As with the Murray situation, a back-to-back could mean difficult decisions regarding injury management.

Leonard has already missed their last game, so it could be tough for him to play back-to-back right now.

The Clippers have lost their last two, but at 7-3 in their last 10, they are fighting to remain the No. 8 seed. They have a lot to play for.
