In a bizarre turn of events, the horn inside Little Caesars Arena was stuck on full blast for over 12 minutes during the Detroit Pistons game against the Cleveland Cavaliers last night. The game was delayed for around 20 minutes as the arena staff scrambled to dampen the ear-piercing noise. Thankfully they got the situation under control but not before Javonte Green had to cover his ears for a brief break from the chaos.
Eventually, the game resumed with the overhead scoreboard completely blank as a side effect of the situation, but the crew at LCA remedied that as well. However, the game was officiated with a manual handheld air horn at various junctures during the second half, which was a new one for me.
Have you ever seen anything like this happen before?
