With the stage set to honor Jalen Duren for his recent appearance on the cover of SLAM Magazine, the Pistons big man carried through with his end of the bargain, putting up 16 points and a monstrous 18 rebounds in Detroit's 108-105 win over the Phoenix Suns. 

JD has a sense for the moment, and there was a clear role on the boards for Duren to fill in the first half. JD nearly had a double-double by halftime, and he quickly accomplished that feat in the third quarter before helping Detroit to a slim win over the visiting Suns.
