The Pistons are back in action at LCA tonight against the Denver Nuggets, but Detroit will take the floor without Jaden Ivey after trading the fourth-year guard to the Chicago Bulls earlier in the day. At 36-12, the Pistons are only a handful of victories away from fulfilling legendary NBA coach Phil Jackson's infamous 40-20 rule to help divide serious title contenders from good-not-great squads across the league. Detroit is expected to grade out as the former of the two options.

From a health standpoint, the Pistons are good to go, which means Caris LeVert is available for the first time in eight games after battling a lengthy illness. The Nuggets are still pretty beaten up in their own right, but Nikola Jokic is slated to potentially make his return to the lineup tonight barring any last-minute setbacks.

Earlier today, Jalen Duren announced he will partake in the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Stat Weekend, and Ausar Thompson was named as the Eastern Conference's Defensive Player of the Month for his effort throughout January, so it's been a big day for the Pistons organization.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm tonight. How's it going to shake out?!
