Thompson, who already won the Defensive Player of the Month award earlier this season, has been a turnover-causing menace for the Pistons over the past several wings, and his aggressive ball-hawking nature on the perimeter has helped Detroit remain in first place of the Eastern Conference while Cade Cunningham has been sidelined with his collapsed lung.
