If Pistons forward Ausar Thompson wasn't already a lock to make one of the NBA's All-Defensive teams, Thursday's DPOM award should help that eventual reality sink in even further. Thompson, who already won the Defensive Player of the Month award earlier this season, has been a turnover-causing menace for the Pistons over the past several wings, and his aggressive ball-hawking nature on the perimeter has helped Detroit remain in first place of the Eastern Conference while Cade Cunningham has been sidelined with his collapsed lung.
