On Friday night, Pistons forward Ausar Thompson was all over the court pestering the Golden State Warriors on defense, and his head coach, J.B. Bickerstaff, joked that it looked like he was six places at once. During Detroit's 115-101 win over the Warriors, Thompson racked up seven steals and set a new career-high in the process of the Pistons forcing 26 turnovers overall.
After the game, Thompson was asked how he felt after setting a new benchmark:
"It feels good," Thompson said. "I wanted to get a record, but I couldn't do that, but I'm happy I got seven. I didn't even know I had seven until like two minutes left in the game, so I was happy to see that because I knew I got six against them earlier. So, I knew my career-high was six."
Whether it is AT's quickness, instincts, leaping ability or sneak-attack help-side defense, what aspect of Thompson's game stands out most to you?
