The NBA announced that Keldon Johnson from the San Antonio Spurs won the Sixth Man of the Year award today, but the Pistons had a voting recipient a little further down the results list. Isaiah Stewart snagged one 1st place vote and one 3rd place vote for a total of 6 points according to the NBA's value system.
Beef Stew finished in 7th place as a result of his shot-swatting campaign, which is interesting considering Stewart only played in 58 games this season. The NBA reportedly held a 65-game cut off for their awards with a minutes restriction attached to games that count as well, but the league did make an exception for Cade Cunningham and Luka Doncic.
