Throughout the summer, a lot of speculation has existed surrounding whether shooting guard Malik Beasley will return to the Detroit Pistons or not after the two parties severed ties amid a federal gambling probe. Since that time, Beasley once again landed in the news due to an exorbitant amount of back rent due to his downtown Detroit high-rise apartment. 

However, Beasley reportedly paid his balance with The Stott apartment and is in good standing, and he's also been cleared of the federal gambling probe. So with that positive swing of momentum, many have suggested that Beasley's sharp shooting talents are still needed in Detroit.

In perhaps a coincidental turn of events, Beasley was spotted in Rome, Italy over the past several days on vacation.

Who else is in Rome at precisely this very moment? Detroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham and center Jalen Duren.

The trio reportedly formed a close bond over the course of last year, and the group connected abroad, which only speaks to their friendship and connection.

It is too early to tell if this happenstance is indicative of Beasley's imminent return to the Pistons, but it is worth noting due to the sheer improbability of such an overseas meetup happening on coincidence.
