Detroit Red Wings defenseman Simon Edvinsson extended a little love from one Motor City team to another when he mentioned how tough the Pistons play. Apparently, Evdinsson went to a Pistons' game with James Van Riemsdyk and couldn't help but notice the physical brand of basketball in front of him. 

To be tough even by hockey standards is quite an accomplishment for a group of hoopers, but it's consistent with the Pistons identity right now.
