Injury Report: Detroit Pistons Vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Nov 4, 2026 9:00 PM

The Detroit Pistons will be without a pair of key players for tonight’s matchup

With the Detroit Pistons riding an active three-game winning streak, the Philadelphia 76ers head to the Motor City tonight for a battle between the top two teams in the Eastern Conference.

Earlier in the season, the Pistons traveled to Philly for a 106-93 win in their third regular season tilt, but the team had to secure that win without the influence of 22-year old All-Star center Jalen Duren. Unfortunately for Detroit, Duren is still recovering from his strained right hamstring, so the big man has been officially ruled out for tonight’s 7 pm tip-off.

In addition to JD’s absence, the Pistons are still not ready to welcome Isaiah Joe back into the rotation after he took a hard spill against the 76ers in their first meeting during the 2026-27 campaign. At that time, Joe had elevated for a thunderous slam dunk on the break, but he took the brunt of a hard fall near the baseline, which forced him to leave the game. Joe was unable to return to the contest, and he’s been dealing with a hip contusion ever since.

Outside of those two injuries, the Pistons should be relatively healthy heading into another highly anticipated meeting with the Sixers, one that should offer a lot of star power from Philly’s side of the equation.

As for the 76ers, Dominick Barlow is listed as out with a lower back stress reaction, which is the same injury that forced his absence when the Pistons played in Philadelphia on Sunday, Oct. 25. Barlow, a fifth-year forward, hasn’t been able to suit up yet this year, so his regular season debut will come another time.

While Barlow is the only absence according to the 76ers’ injury report, it’s worth noting that Joel Embiid has been playing through plantar fasciitis for the past several games. As a result of that limitation, the Sixers have placed Embiid on a minutes restriction, but he’s still been able to play through the pain lately and will be another test for Detroit’s top-ranked defense.

Outside of those updates, it’s never a bad idea to check on the status of LeBron James, who checks in at 42-years old. Despite all those miles on his body, James is not featured on the injury report tonight for any load management purposes, so the all-time legend should play his first game in Motown while wearing a Philly uniform in just a few hours.

Prior to the game, James spoke about how difficult of a place Detroit can be to play given the rapid support coming from the Pistons fanbase. Since both teams are slotted at the top of the East, tonight’s battle could foreshadow a future playoff series down the line depending on how the rest of the season shakes out.
