The second-round draft pick out of Arizona is joining the Toronto Raptors on a two-way deal, the team announced on Monday.
The Toronto Raptors continue their quest for contention in the Eastern Conference, looking to find a potential diamond in the rough in 22-year-old guard Jaden Bradley.
In his last season with the Wildcats, Bradley averaged 13.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in 39 matchups. He also led the team with 4.4 assists per game, efficiently getting the ball into the hands of fellow guard Brayden Burries, who finished the season with a team-high 16.1 points per game.
Despite Arizona's heartbreaking 91-73 loss to Michigan in the Final Four national semifinal, Bradley contributed until the very end. He tied Burries for 13 points on the night while going 5-for-6 from the free throw line and shooting 66.7% from the field.
Furthermore, Bradley set the tone for the Wildcats' spectacular 36-3 regular season and first-place finish in the Big 12 during the team's opener against Florida. He scored a season-best 27 points, while also logging five assists, three rebounds and two steals against the Gators.
More recently, he broke out in Arizona's 87-80 win over Baylor on Feb. 24 with 25 points, six rebounds and six assists while shooting 62.5% from beyond the arc. He also went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, helping put the Bears away when it mattered most.
What each performance doesn't show, however, is the impressive confidence and leadership that Bradley brings on a regular basis.
"He makes his teammates better and knows how to be a leader as the point guard. He’s not afraid of the big moments and we know he’s ready for this next step in the NBA with the Raptors," said head coach Tommy Lloyd, according to Javier Morales of AllSportsTuscon.com.
Bradley's accomplishments even stretch back to Alabama, where the roots of his collegiate career took hold. While he averaged just 6.4 points, 3.1 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 0.5 steals per game, he was a major difference maker in the Roll Tide's 84-62 win over Ole Miss. He logged 14 points, three rebounds and three assists during 24 minutes of action.
Finally, Bradley continued to demonstrate steady improvement each year once he made the westward journey to Arizona, averaging seven points in sophomore season and 12.1 his junior year, which is a great sign for any player trying to make their way into the NBA.
With the 2026 NBA Summer League in progress, expect Bradley to demonstrate the immense value he provides not only as a reliable scorer, but also a crucial glue guy in the locker room for other young talent on the team like Alijah Martin.
