The San Antonio Spurs will take on the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA Cup showdown, and we have you covered with everything you need to know before tipoff.

The San Antonio Spurs will travel to take on the Los Angeles Lakers in the last scheduled game of their four-stop road trip. Since it's the NBA Cup quarterfinals, however, a win would send them to Las Vegas to take on either the Phoenix Suns or Oklahoma City Thunder in the semis.

The Spurs have made it clear that they are focused on winning the Cup and will be treating the upcoming game like it's a playoff matchup. The Lakers, meanwhile, hoisted the first Cup in 2023, although their roster has been shaken up since then.

Los Angeles will be at nearly full health in this game, whereas the Spurs remain injured. San Antonio has been able to weather the injury bug so far this season, although their schedule has been fairly easy.

They are just now entering the meat of the season, and won't have nearly as many lackluster matchups, even if they barely beat bad teams.

Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds, TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

The Spurs enjoyed an 18-point return from Stephon Castle against the Pelicans, although they are still without their best player. The Lakers, meanwhile, are healthier than they were last time they played the Spurs, although San Antonio was without De'Aaron Fox in that game.

The Lakers are a game ahead of the Spurs in the standings, although San Antonio boasts the seventh-best point differential. Los Angeles sits at 11th.

This game could very well be a playoff preview, and with NBA Cup implications, expect both teams to give it their all. The Lakers, with their trio of LeBron James, Austin Reaves, and Luka Doncic, should be a tough opponent. There's a reason why the Spurs are underdogs!
