Dylan Harper's one-of-one Rookie Debut Patch Autograph sold for $2.88 million, smashing the previous public record for a card featuring the Spurs guard.
A one-of-one 2025-26 Bowman Chrome Autographs SuperFractor of San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper sold for $320,860 on Sept. 19 in Goldin's Summer Goldin 100 Auction. At the time, it was the highest public sale for any Harper card, the San Antonio Express-News reported.
Six days later, the record belonged to Harper's one-of-one Topps Rookie Debut Patch Autograph, which brought $2.88 million when Fanatics Collect closed its September Premier Auction early Friday..
Harper's Card Record Jumped From $320,860 to $2.88 Million
PSA graded the Bowman card NM-MT 8. Harper signed it in blue ink, and Goldin put the odds of pulling it at 1:50,378 hobby packs in a Facebook post the week before the sale. Goldin's prices include a 22% buyer's premium.
The same Goldin auction sold a one-of-one Victor Wembanyama card for $305,000, Sports Collectors Daily reported. That one was a 2025-26 Topps Chrome image variation SuperFractor graded PSA 10, serial numbered to match his jersey number.
Harper's Card Market Has Climbed Throughout 2026
Harper's card market has been setting new highs since February. On Feb. 19, a Topps Chrome Next Stop Signatures SuperFractor graded BGS 9.5 sold for $43,201.20 through Alt, according to Card Ladder. On May 1, during San Antonio's second-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, his 2025-26 Topps Chrome SuperFractor autograph sold for $280,000 on eBay. That card was graded PSA 7. The seller had listed it at $449,999 and took a best offer.
Rookie Debut Patch Came From Harper's First NBA Game
That card holds the patch from Harper's jersey in his first NBA game, on Oct. 22, 2025, in Dallas. He scored 15 points, and the Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 125-92. WeTheHobby pulled the redemption on Aug. 14 during a Fanatics Live break.
Cooper Flagg's Debut Patch card from that same game sold for $8.04 million in Friday's auction. Kon Knueppel's went for $2.34 million. Dallas drafted Flagg first overall in 2025, San Antonio took Harper second, and the Charlotte Hornets took Knueppel fourth.
Harper Joins Wembanyama, Duncan Among Spurs With Six-Figure Cards
Harper's Goldin sale put him alongside three other Spurs whose cards have topped $100,000, according to the Express-News. Wembanyama has several, and his top five range from about half a million dollars to $5.1 million.
The $5.1 million card is a one-of-one 2023-24 Panini Prizm Black rookie graded PSA 10. Fanatics Collect brokered the private sale in May. His previous record had been $860,100 at Goldin in February 2025.
Tim Duncan's top sale is $330,645.62, for a 1997 SkyBox Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Emerald rookie graded BGS 8. Stephon Castle's is $104,900, for a one-of-one 2024-25 Panini Prizm Black rookie graded BGS 8.5.
Harper Made All-Rookie First Team in First NBA Season
As a rookie, Harper put up 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game over 69 appearances and made the All-Rookie First Team. In the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks, he came off the bench in all five games and averaged 18.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists.
Harper signed a two-year, $25.36 million rookie-scale contract in July 2025. It includes a team option for 2027-28 worth $13.61 million.
