The San Antonio Spurs have won seven games in a row, including their last two road games against the Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies. The road trip will continue on Saturday, with the Spurs taking on the shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.

Without Giannis Antetokounmpo or a halfway-capable depth chart, the Bucks have slid down the standings. It's very possible that Giannis has played his last game in Cream City, although the Spurs are no longer a feasible landing spot for him on the trade market.

Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds, TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

The Bucks, by effectively shutting down Giannis for the season against his will, have waved the white flag on the season despite not owning their own draft pick this year. The Spurs, meanwhile, will happily beat any and every bad team they can as they attempt to chase the Oklahoma City Thunder for the top seed in the Western Conference.

The Spurs ran the Memphis Grizzlies out of the building in their last game, despite not having De'Aaron Fox and Luke Kornet in the lineup. Against the Bucks, the Spurs are projected to be fully healthy, giving them obvious advantages against a shorthanded team.

That's not to say that the Spurs will treat this as an off night. Wembanyama has made it clear that he wants to win MVP, and the rest of the team has bought into that mission. While Wembanyama isn't the best stat-padder in the league, this afternoon's game will give him the perfect opportunity to raise his season averages, show off some dominance, and land himself on highlight shows airing in prime time.

Of course, dominating Giannis would help his case, but getting an easy win might be more compelling in the grand scheme of things, especially if the Spurs can pass up those pesky Thunder and enter the playoffs as the undisputed best team in the entire NBA.
