Spurs vs. Pistons: Betting Lines, Injuries, and How to Watch cover image

The San Antonio Spurs will return to the Frost Bank Center after a successful Rodeo Road Trip, and they will host the Detroit Pistons, one of the very best teams in the NBA.

Between the nine-game Rodeo Road Trip and the All-Star Break, the San Antonio Spurs haven't played in front of their home crowd since February 5.

The Spurs have been red-hot, dropping only one game on their road trip, although it's safe to say that everyone on the roster is happy to be back in Texas. While the Spurs had a rest day on Wednesday, they will need all of their strength as they take on the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons are easily the best team in the Eastern Conference, although the Spurs beat them in the Motor City last month. Stephon Castle shut down Cade Cunningham, and Victor Wembanyama got hot in the fourth quarter as the Spurs rained a barrage of 3-pointers. They will hope to go undefeated against Detroit on the season.

Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds, TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

Spurs vs. Pistons Betting Lines

  • Point spread: Spurs -3.5/Pistons +3.5
  • Money line: Spurs (-162)/Pistons (+136)
  • Over/under: 228.5

In the Spurs' last game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Harrison Barnes' iron man streak was broken as he woke up from a nap with an ankle injury.

Without Barnes, the Spurs will rely on a depleted wing core, although they didn't struggle at all from deep in the last matchup against Detroit. The Pistons are an extremely physical team, and center Isaiah Stewart has returned from a suspension. The Spurs did not have to play against Stewart in the last matchup, but he and Jalen Duren should bring some abuse in tonight's game.

Expect every basket, especially from Victor Wembanyama, to be well-earned and hard-fought.
