The San Antonio Spurs will take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, but will Victor Wembanyama suit up for the Silver and Black?

The San Antonio Spurs have three games left in the regular season and have already clinched a top-two seed in the Western Conference. All three of the final games will be at the Frost Bank Center, and with Victor Wembanyama still under 65 games played, the pressure is on, even if the playoffs are imminent.

Wemby went down with a rib injury in the Spurs' last game, a 115-102 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Sitting at 63 games played this season, he can take one game off before he is officially ineligible for MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and All-NBA teams.

With games still to play against the Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, and Denver Nuggets, most fans would prefer him to miss the finale against Nikola Jokic, although, as the Spurs host the Blazers, it stands to reason that his ribs are still hurting.

Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds, TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

While Wembanyama is unlikely to suit up, Stephon Castle has been officially ruled out. He was visibly banged up in the win over Philly, but still managed to finish and post his fifth triple-double of his career.

Since it's impossible for the Spurs to move down and very unlikely that they will move up, expect Castle to be out for the rest of the season. He has a strong All-NBA case, and has already played in 67 games this season, so missing the final slate won't hurt his chances.

As the Spurs prepare for the postseason, there are bigger fish to fry than individual awards, although Wembanyama has made it clear that he thinks he is the MVP. Expect him to take tonight off and recover before Friday, when the Spurs host the Dallas Mavericks for the penultimate game of the season.
