The San Antonio Spurs will host the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference first round, and we have you covered with everything you need to know before Game 1.

For the first time since 2019, the San Antonio Spurs have made the NBA playoffs. In the first round, they will meet up against the physical, oversized Portland Trail Blazers, who beat the Spurs only once this season.

Granted, Victor Wembanyama did not suit up in any games against Portland this season, so the Spurs' 2-1 record against the Blazers is more than acceptable.

The last time the Spurs met Portland in the playoffs was the second round way back in 2014. LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard were no match for the Finals-bound San Antonio team, who hoisted their fifth and most recent championship trophy that year.

Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds, TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

Neither team has any major injuries to start the series that could be a factor. Lillard has been out all season, still recovering from an injury that he suffered last postseason while playing for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Neither team has much playoff experience, and the sheer amount of depth and talent on the Spurs' roster gives them a clear edge. The winner of this series will go on to face either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Denver Nuggets in the second round, and the Spurs are hoping to make short work of the Trail Blazers, getting plenty of rest before a much more difficult Western Conference Semis matchup.
