Phoenix is now 5-1 at home. The last three games Grayson Allen and Devin Booker have taken over each game towards the end, when it is needed. Allen hit four big points of his 26 against the Dallas Mavericks in clutch moments to seal the victory.
Now Phoenix is playing in their second back-to-back games. This can play into being an advantage for the Pacers going into the game rested up, ready to play.
The Suns should be able to win this game very comfortably, playing well at home, Indiana playing horrible on the road. As well as being significantly undermanned, Indiana really needs to play with momentum to pull out this victory.
Although the Suns are missing starter Jalen Green and center Mark Williams, Allen and Booker must have a great night together and should still walk away with a win at home.
If Phoenix can pull off another win at home, they will move up to the seventh-place position in the Western Conference.
Indiana is in the top-10 when it comes to fastest paced teams in the NBA which means more shots and longer time of possession. Recent games the Suns have given up 118, 120, 133 points, defense is a top priority on the court right now.
Coach Ott was giving a lot of praise to Allen for stepping up in Jalen Greens absence. Showing that when Green comes back from the hamstring injury the Phoenix Suns could have three starters that end up on the All-Star Team this year.
