Back-to-back games for the Suns, looking to bounce back from Friday night's loss.

Coming into Saturday night's game against the Denver Nuggets, the Suns have played five games in seven days. Winning three out of five but losing two of those to the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Denver is ranked #5 in the Western Conference, three games ahead of the #6 Phoenix Suns.

The Suns are still without rookie center Mark Williams, out with calf soreness and other big Isaiah Livers. Both starters, Grayson Allen and Jalen Green are out as well for this game.

Phoenix is beaten and bruised but has been pulling into their depth and finding ways to win. When they do not win, it usually comes down to being beat on the boards and sloppy play.

In the first half we saw the Phoenix Suns keeping the score close with the Denver Nuggets, at one point the Suns even had a two-point lead.

Going shot for shot but Phoenix mainly causing more turnovers, Denver with eleven turnovers to only five from the Suns.

Both teams are shooting 50-percent from the field, although the Nuggets are hitting 60-percent of their three-pointers to the Suns 42-percent from beyond the arc.

At halftime the Suns trailed by three, 63-60 Denver leading.

Nikola Jokic is 5/5 from the field with 18-points at the half, Dillon Brooks is leading for Phoenix with 19-points on 7/10 shooting.

Phoenix can pull this win off if they can keep shooting with a high percentage from the field and keep creating turnovers.

Denver started off the second half hot, breaking out to a ten-point lead early. The Nuggets have come up with more rebounds in the third quarter, creating more second chance points.

Phoenix has created more turnovers than Denver but have not taken advantage of those opportunities.

What was once a close first half has become a twenty-one-point lead by a Nuggets team that is shooting 60-percent from the three-point line.

There is not much the Phoenix Suns can do about a team who cannot miss on a hot night on the court. Phoenix played an organized game of minimal mistakes, just could not go shot for shot.

The Nuggets kept control since the third quarter, never letting off the gas and pulling away with a 130-112 victory on the road over the Suns.
